These are onsite and hands on classes for the herbal beginner who is interested in obtaining the herbal knowledge needed to provide safe and effective relief for common/acute conditions. Students will not only gain the confidence to attend to various conditions when they arise, but will also learn the principles needed to help prevent illness and keep their family healthy. Students will learn about and discuss over 30 herbs used for health and healing. This course includes many of the core classes offered in the Community Herbalist Program and may be applied if the student wishes to continue on with their herbal training.
- Classes are held one weekend a month for 3 months, beginning in September and ending in November.
Make-up classes will be offered at the discretion of the instructor and will be presented through audio recordings, class notes and powerpoint presentations.
Classes will run from 10 am – 4 pm Saturday and Sunday (*unless otherwise noted). Times may vary depending on class participation and size.
TUITION: $576.00 (Registration closes September 10th, 2016)
(includes 48 lecture hours, class handouts and all materials for herbal projects. Students will take home all preparations which are made in class.)

3 Payments = $192.00/month
(1st payment due at registration; 2nd payment before class in October and 3rd payment due before class in November)
